Hello to all.
I have been well slack regarding updating the website..there is so much news.
First of all, the new album “More Than Words” is being organised as I write. The Cd cover is being designed this week, and all being well I will begin manufacture early March 2010 for an April release..in time for my 50th birthday.
This album has taken a really long time get right, and I have had lots of help from some friends in getting this far.
Some old friends include Charles Spicer (Cor Anglais & Oboe),and Rob Bartholomew (Soprano & Tenor Sax)..we all had the dubious pleasure (?) of playing in a series of very dodgy bands together so were our friendships forged. Also Maninderpal Singh on tabla, we have played all round the country together but never recorded.
I also got a chance to play my baritone guitar on a track (“It’s Still Raining”),and it sounds great a real credit to Dave White (De Faoite Guitars).
I am expecting a real corker of a guitar in time for my birthday (see above), the maker (Dennis Leahy) has christened the instrument “Angelina” and here she is complete with the most splendid buttocks !!!
I don’t really go for Gibson/Martin guitar variants I prefer something out of the ordinary..and I think “Angelina” qualifies.
The album will be on myspace soon. . here.

there are also more sound samples.
Here are some pics of me with my new guitar ..looking suitably pleased. and another with Jim Claridge the talented luthier who built it. It is sounds every bit as good as it looks and I am really pleased with it.
This is a track called “Night Train To Deeradhun” and recalls a memorable train journey in India.
